Your CHRO has asked you to create a new HR scorecard for your organization. Though you need time to collect and analyze the data, the CHRO has asked for you to provide a template that she can share with the executive leadership team. This template will be an example of how information can be visually presented. The CHRO wants to get leadership’s input on what data they would find most valuable. For the template, she would like you to include: Demographic information on the employee population that highlights the diversity of the organization Turnover by function (e.g., Operations, R&D, Sales & Marketing, General & Administrative) compared to industry average Measurement of progress in filling open positions Benefit costs and participation rates One additional area of your choice Consider your audience (executive leadership) and think about how to make a visually appealing report that will provide them with information that moves them to action. Using Excel, design a scorecard showcasing the requested metrics. Explain in your DQ response why you selected the metrics that you did. Attach the scorecard template that you design. You may attach your Excel sheet, convert it to a PDF and attach, and/or copy and paste a picture of the scorecard template into the discussion board. For purposes of this exercise, you can make up data to create graphics because this is only a template and you do not have time to run a report from the company’s system.
