Reliability is critical to any psychological test. In their discussion of reliability, many research articles specifically include the concept of internal consistency. It is clearly important to have an understanding of what is meant in the literature. For this discussion:
Briefly explain what is meant by internal consistency.
There are two common types of internal consistency seen in the
professional literature. Briefly explain:
How internal consistency is established using split half reliability.
How internal consistency is established using Cronbach\\\”s Alpha.
