The speech event/s must be original (not made up) and may be taken from any sources including: dialogues from TV/Radio programmes, plays or films, online ‘conversations’, recorded live conversations (formal or informal settings) etc. The source must be clearly indicated.
Find a speech first, then analysis dialogues in it. The aspects are: Presupposed Meaning (Presupposition), Deixis (pointing meaning via language), Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, Exclamative, Implicit meaning (the hidden meaning), coordination and structure.
The main body should list two or three lines of speech then analysis it in those aspects. And find another part and so on.
You should list a Transcription at last of this essay. It should have numbers in left as speech sequence and transcription in right.
