Argentina has had four great urban protests in its modern history: the 1919 semana trgica, the October 17, 1945 events, the 1969 cordobazo and the 2001 argentinazo. Discuss each of these uprisings. Analyze specifically what the protests revealed about the precise demands of the lower classes for inclusion and what each demonstrated about democracys development in the country.
