The members of each group work together to develop a conceptual model of the factors (e.g. socio-economic, environmental, behavioral, and individual-level) that contribute to the public health concern in their community. The group identifies the most powerful factors (in terms of their predictability and being able to be modified) to be addressed in their programs, policies, and epidemiological studies.You shoudld only focus on one aspect. I would say focus on behavioral intervention and changes.Based on their newly acquired knowledge of the topic and their public health knowledge gained during their MPH program, each group member designs a project to address his/her specific issue in the assigned community and writes a proposal describing the project. Each group MUST include at least one of the following types of projects: behavioral intervention, policy recommendation and epidemiological study. There may be more than one of each type of project. Other types of projects (e.g. environmental studies) may be proposed, but MUST be approved by the faculty leader.While each group member works independently to develop his/her proposal, the group also works together to ensure that each project is distinct and addresses the group’s assigned public health concern.
