Do not use any of Plato\’s or Aristotle\’s texts not on the readings list for this class. How well has your education conformed to Plato\’s and Aristotle\’s ideas? Remember that Plato\’s and Aristotle\’s own educations came through reading Homer, Hesiod, Sophocles, Herodotus and Thucydides. They also studied Thales, Anaximander and Pythagoras.
