TOPIC
For this project you will design and narrate a PowerPoint presentation providing an
overview of a Pharmacology drug or interesting topic related to pharmacology.
You may choose your own topic.
You will submit a Project Topic on Canvas PART I (upload file 10 points)- due February 6th
You will receive feedback approving (or requesting that you modify) your topic.
To be approved, the topic must include:
• A brief discussion about a drug, it’s mechanism of action, route of administration,
toxicity, and effects (ex. Side effects, contrandications), etc.
• Fun facts- something interesting about your topic that you want your audience to
know
Your project will be used to assess your knowledge of your topic.
There will be three graded assignments associated with this project:
Part II (30 points)
• A simple outline of your presentation:
o Introduction
o Middle content
o Conclusion
o Fun facts
• Submit your Project Outline on Canvas (upload file)
Part III (60 points) –
• Oral presentation.
• 15–20-minute presentation of your topic
• Grammer and punctuation will be graded
• No less than 10 minutes
• Include References in APA format
• Be original and creative with your presentation
o Props
o Interviews
o Experiences, etc.
