please focus on great britain not the world or America, look at the economic booms, literacy rates, newspapers, focus on a time period, look at murder towards children, wives,focus on local newspapers rather than national papers , look at what the relationship betwwen media consumption and punitive attitues, look at how murderes were treated by the press, what have other historians concluded to the findings, look at police and there effectivness.
