Executive Summary
The reason for this proposal is to research and find the market of e-commerce
business in Saudi Arabia by applying the studies gained from YUC (Yanbu
University College).
The main purpose and the objective of this research would be discussed in details in
coming pages. The estimation of the sample size of expected customers who have
been interviewed and also filled online forms be included and estimated.
The type of the research will be exploratory and also the literature data would be
studied to get the knowledge about the e-commerce.
This research would be done through interviews and the data will be collected through
online forms and the data will be entered through smart devices using google
documents. It will take about forteen weeks to complete the research and prepare the
results taken from it.
The Purpose
The purpose of this research is to
1. First study the Saudi Market for e-commerce and then segmentize the market
based on the needs and wants of the people and then implement the results in a
condition of launching of e-commerce business.
2. Secondly, MKT322 market research that is sponsored by the management
department.
3. Third purpose of this research is to find the awareness of people about the ecommerce.
This research will make the shopping easy and make the people
buy and trust more on e-commerce business rather than going to the market
traditionally and purchasing the stuff.

4. Last purpose is to make start e-commerce business and run it succesfully with
least trials and errors.

• Explore whether residents of Saudi Arabia are willing be friendly with ecommerce
• Determine whether residents of Saudi Arabia are not hesitant in purchasing
through their credit cards
• Identify about the financial conditions of the target market to start the business.
