Background
• PLEASE EXPAND: The Research Proposal focused on random searches and racial profiling. This is fine HOWEVER, it should cover more than just this. It should focus on why do people of color have longer more stringent prison sentences? Why are “high crime” areas predominately black? Why do celebrities or “richer” people get away with higher crimes than the poor? Why is a blind eye turned away from the hundreds killed in Kenya and Boko Haram? (Perhaps from the issues in Africa, you may discuss how International Legal Professionals and governments were more concerned with ancient artifacts being broken than the lives of thousands of black students murdered. Is it the fact that it is all the way in Africa the poorest continent? That would make it a socio economic issue.) I’m not sure how you would incorporate all of these in the thesis but these are all questions the paper should answer.
