This paper is a media portfolio and analysis paper. For this paper you will need to compile 10 different print (magazine) advertisements that reflect messages about violence against women in popular culture/media. This paper should address issues including: the representation of women & violence against women that are reflected in the advertisement, and the political impacts (positive or negative)of such a representation. The paper should also answer the following questions: Do the media sources use objectification language in their presentation of women? Do they fall prey to rape myths or other myths concerning the issue at hand? Please provide pictures of the print advertisements at the end of the essay, not within the paper.
