As we discussed, this like other issues we have covered in this class, is a quickly evolving issue. The laws regarding gay marriage are changing quickly both in individual states and nationally. These changes also have a practical effect for the students with whom we work. Depending on the laws in your state, you may find yourself working with more and more students with same-sex parents and/or staff. Recently, a vice principal at Catholic high school in Seattle was fired for marrying his same-sex partner even though this was a legal marriage. Given this and the changes in public opinion on this topic, please answer one or more of the following prompts. Responses should be about 2 paragraphs:
