Body politics (Feminism, Queer Theory, Post-Colonial Theory, etc.) have had a profound influence on the way the human body is represented in art. Consider representations of nude women in art photography. Do these images necessarily objectify and/or sexualize their subjects?
Why are there relatively few examples of male nudes in art photography?
