In this Report students are required to analyze an organization that has undergone a change in the last 2 years and make recommendations using the theories of one of the topics from the course. The aim of the report is to provide an in-depth analysis of the theories from any one of the following topics:

– Power and resistance to change
– HRM and organizational change
– Change and sustainability

The report should be written in third person and supported in text with a minimum of 8 contemporary (published after year 2000) academic peer-refereed journal articles.

The Report will be assessed according to the following criteria:
1. Clear identification of the your chosen organization and the problem, issue or impetus for change
2. Accuracy of description of the components and processes of the change
3. Depth of analysis of the organization using relevant literature
4. Appropriateness of evaluation and recommendations
5. Research that is appropriate and refereed
6. Structure, Style and Presentation
o Clear and logical structure
o Free of spelling and grammatical errors
o Consistent use of APAv6 referencing style
o Within word limit (+/- 10% allowance)
o Times new roman or Arial, 12 point font, 1.5 spacing

Note: As this is a short report, you do not need an executive summary, list of tables, list of figures, acknowledgments, which you would normally include in a long report.

2.0 Background of the organization
Does the report provide a brief background of the organisation under investigation?
3.0 Impetus for the change
Does the report provide information on the problem, issue or impetus for change?
4.0 Analysis and evaluation of the change process/program
Does the report indicate a thorough understanding of the literature relevant to the change process/program used? Does the report critically analyse the change process/program in relation to the literature?
5.0 Conclusion and Recommendations
Are all points summarised in the conclusion?
Are succinct links made between the analysis of the change process/program and the recommendations made?
