Option #2:
In the NY Times article at the weblink “Beyond Happiness”, Seligman defines the five crucial elements of well-being, each pursued for its own sake: positive emotion, engagement (the feeling of being lost in a task), relationships, meaning and accomplishment.
Describe and give examples of each of those elements in your life: to what extent do you have each one, are you lacking in any of these areas, what things in your life contribute to each of these elements?
Based on those elements, how would you rate your sense of well-being–and why?
Is there anything you could do, or plan to do, to increase your sense of well-being?
