As we continue with your PowerPoint presentation that you began in week 1, think about the second part you are going to incorporate into your presentation this week. Remember those 5 chapters include:
· The Importance of ethical contributions from a famous philosopher
· The Importance of ethics in business
· The Importance of ethics in media sharing
· The Importance of ethics in science
· Bringing it all together – How you will what you have learned about ethics affect your technology career
In our last week completing the final PowerPoint section, your slides will cover: How you will take all of the information you have learned in this course and utilize it to show how ethics will affect you personally and in your technology career. I would like to see 6 more slides. Slides might include: How you will utilize your understanding of ethics to better understand yourself and others; specific areas from our reading that will help you have a better idea of how to act in an ethical way at work; how you could utilize things like having an understanding of the subjectivity of ethics to improve your ability to tolerate individual differences; how learning about ethics could help you in your business or future business; How your ethics can personally affect not only your career but others in business and society. These are examples of ideas but feel free to add or change what you want to include in your final presentation. Also be sure that one of your slides is a summary slide or conclusion that wraps up everything you explained about in the presentation. As with all weeks, include at least 2 citations in this week’s work and be sure those references are noted on the reference page.
