The final assignment is a position paper on the BEST EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT to develop language and literacy for the child or adolescent you chose for your work. This paper requires you to show familiarity with the theories, concepts, and practices addressed in the class by referring to a variety of class readings to support your ideas and decisions. A minimum of five different bibliographical sources must be used in a thoughtful and integrated manner. These must include reading from the Charity & Mallison textbook as well as articles distributed by the professor. This part of the paper should be an academic, creative and analytical piece of work rather than a repetition of previous assignments.
