The topic of the paper is Tattoos and how tattoos artists deal with everyday circumstances to pursue their dream and make a living. I have interviewed 13 participants. and have around 10 questions, each participant is numbered (ex: 9, mean participant #9 )
I need to compare expectations with real life.
Big story is (expectations – something we read in book or see on TV) Little story is (real life – something real tattoo artist have told in the interviews)
Big story – Media/cultural (open the “Annotated Bibliography” file to see the literature that is being used for the paper and watch the “LA ink” show, look at the “Example” file to see how the author defines “Big story” section. Use the information from “Annotated Bibliography” and “LA ink” to write the part on Big story in other words what message it delivers to the audience.
Little story – (Doing tattoos) – ( Open “Before sorted interviews” file , all the questions of the participants are sorted under one /same question. (ex: How do you negotiate the price of a tattoo? #1(answer) #2 ( answer) etc. ) 1.) Then open the “Categories” files (1-5) and define each category in your own words based on the information provided in “Similarities and differences file” (where I compare and contrast participants) (ex: Serendipity – (define in your own words) 2.) Find the most important quotes in “Before sorted interviews” file and summarize the quote. 3.) Summarize the paper.
