Your paper should contain the following sections:

Family: Provide a background for your story of living in a different part of the world. In your childhood, who was in your family? Who lived with you? Did your parents both work in or out of the house? Who was responsible for domestic work? What are the gender roles in your family life? How would this affect your life?
Your Community: What type of education did you receive? What was expected of you as a child at home? At school? In your community? Is religion important to you? How did this affect your development? Did it limit or enable you to make choices about your adulthood? What was adolescence like? Dating? Work? Marriage?
Adulthood: As an adult, what was your life like there? Are you married? What is married life like in your country? What is your standard of living? Do you have children? What are your concerns as an adult?
Compare and Contrast: What your life in a different country was like, to what your actual life was like growing up. Highlight difference and similarities between the two lives.
Conclusion: Were you surprised by the information you learned about another culture?
