Students are asked to develop a critical essay of 4,000 words maximum, by developing a set of balanced arguments in support and in opposition to one of the statements below. Students should see each statement as a specific research project which they need to explore separately from the lecture material which will be much more general in nature. Students need to draw on theoretical and practical/empirical arguments for against each statement. Please note that students can also pick another statement which relates another factor to effective organizational performance if their interest and emerging research highlights significant potential in such a relationship.
