However, the assessor will expect you to do more than simply summarize literature on the topic. The assessor will want to see evidence that you have thought hard about the issue and are able to develop inform arguments, which enable you to answer the question chosen in a clear and rigorous manner. Research papers that demonstrate a highly sophisticated understanding of the issue and display an exceptional degree of insight have a tendency to score the highest grades.
