Compose a study on the topic of “APA Style Annotated Reference List Writing.”The Annotated Bibliography is a list of critical sources used as support for your Research Paper.
Remember that all critical sources must be based on the writing of your subject text, NOT the theme. Sources that discuss drug addiction, prejudice, World War II history or Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome do not meet the requirements of the assignment.
This assignment has 2 parts:
Part 1 -citation information ( author, title, publisher, date)
Part 2 – a short paragraph showing what the article is arguing with a quote from the critical article.
You will do this for each of the 5 sources.
Here is an example:
Part 1 –
Auden, W.H. Lectures on Shakespeare. Edited by Authur Kirsch, Princeton University Press, 2000.
Part 2 –
“Lorenzo shows his lack of prejedice in ,,,marrying her (Jessica). Portia, too, has no racial prejudice. ” (76.)
This is an analysis of The Merchant of Venice where Auden argues that the Christians in the play do not show prejedice toward other religions, especially Lorenzo and Portia, who are both willing to marry non-Christians. This is a powerful and well researched source. Auden’s writing is clear and based on detailed analysis of the play’s language.
BY INCLUDING THE INFORMATION BELOW YOU WILL HAVE AN ANNOTATED BIBILIOGRAPHY
-a quote from the source
– a short evaluation of the source.
