Why is there no such thing as human “races”? (anthropologists prefer to use “ethnicity”)

-How is this racial system a tragic legacy of European colonialism and enforced by the modern American racial classification system.

-How does modern human biology (especially the genetic evidence when comparing Africans to non-Africans- reference the Yu et al. article) prove that “races” do not exist, and why does it challenge/ refute the current racial classification system used by the United States Census Bureau?

-Be sure to briefly define several environmental factors and adaptations to them that have led to some prominent variation in appearance between ethnics groups in modern Homo sapiens. For example, why does an arctic Eskimo hunter look different than an African Maasai pastoralist? Feel free to compare any ethnic groups you see fit (hint Allen’s and/ or Bergmann’s Rule apply here!)
