For this essay, you will write a well-researched argument that takes a position on a controversial topic that is somehow informed by your Service-Learning experience. You will write 1500-1800 words PLUS your Works Cited page, written in MLA style, including a mix of scholarly and mainstream sources.

You must use at least three scholarly sources in addition to three reputable news sources (for a total of six sources). The paper should include an interesting and descriptive title.
