Memoirs of the Second World War by Winston Churchill
Memoirs of the Second World War was originally published in 1958 and is one of the Nobel Prize winning books of Winston Churchill. The book is well composed and compressed in a single unit with a massive explanation of the history of conflicts. Winston Churchill served as one of the well-known prime ministers in the Great Britain in a period of 5 years between 1940 and1945. He was one of the great leaders in the World War II and served as a servant in the freedom world with successful opportunity and conviction in the presence of Nazi Tyranny.
Memoirs of the second world war defines the different approaches of the world war events using the words of a leader who saw Britain’s consequences as the war began and as it ended. The book composes and explains the role of the leader and his significant in the World War II and more significantly, in aligning the allies’ freedom. The book introduces the concept of the unnecessary war that is termed by Winston Churchill from the troubled beginning, through the scary process and finally the blood shed aftermath. The book is defined by the epilogue that is well written by Winston Churchill on the war during this era, therefore, Memoirs of the Second World War is a significant and intellect work that is composed of drama, eye witness talk, magistrate’s composition and gives an important view of the basic events that occurred during the 20th century Churchill (1959).
The theme of the book is defined by the way the author expressed the qualities of a leader having evolved in the right time. Winston Churchill in his book considered the leader as a Godsend person to a country that is in need of a leader to formulate good leadership skills after they have been emerged in the world of disaster. The introduction of the memoir of the conflict by Churchill is one of the most fundamental individuality of the 20th century especially in the World War II and his role as a leader presents the insightful moments of an effective leader with effective leadership qualities. The leader provides solutions to the problems that are faced mainly by the allies during the World War II. Churchill expresses his greatness and states that Britain was not prepared. He gives the full discussion of the shocking aspects that the Allies faced in the process of Britain in the conflict. It is such an amazing situation that the French people did not have any reserves towards Paris. The theme of the book explains the specific burdens that are initiated in Britain as Churchill, the author, discusses deeply the effectiveness of the war machine in German. Therefore, this is not a war by explanation but accounts the aspects of the conflict and the role of the leadership skills that are applied by Churchill. Churchill provides a significant approach in writing the book and gives the fascinating views of the leadership skills and qualities to the allied powers. The theme of the book describes the way Churchill provides an insightful experience and the proud moments as Americans initiated in the war. The significance of the Americans in the war ended the fate of Hitler and Mussolini and many of the Japanese were impacted greatly. The book does not give a full account of the war but presents a fundamental theme of the readers to be in a position to understand the process that are initiated in politics.
Most people who understand the life of Winston Churchill conclude that the noble prize that he won was simply as a result of being one of the first Britain prime Minister, but with the true aspects on the winning of the Noble prize came as a result of being the author of the Memoirs of the Second World War book that explained his life as a noble leader and the events that happened during the world war II. I like the concepts in the book as Churchill has encompassed and defined a range of different documents that have explained the proves that he wants to incorporate. Basically, I liked the strong period time of the authors in the formulating the policy of the Britain and the mechanisms of survival by the aliens. The author’s personal experiences are well formulated and therefore I am able to formulate the life, and how the author uses his leadership in assisting and solving the problems of the aliens.
The book has its own weaknesses and the author is very much interested in giving arguments that are against certain occurrences in the events, although it is true that the author is usually on the right side. There are still concepts in the book that have given high emphasizes and attention on small issues like the battles that happened in Tobruk, but there are still some ignorance on the major issues like the Normandy concepts and the processes of the liberation France. I was still not comfortable with the introduction of the history although I have read the whole volume of the book and I have appreciated the rich explanation of the event. There is this one volume of introduction that left me nowhere, since the explanation is conscience, a lot of concepts have been eliminated and it has lost the exact meaning of the voice that lacks the author’s touch and flavor that has enhanced the six volumes complete and exiting.
Memoirs of the Second World War presents the work of a great leader with the leadership skills and holds more reasons. Throughout the long series of the book, Prime Minister Churchill gives the reader the required attention to master effectively through the 20th century events through the rise and ruling the Nazi in Germany and the impacts that other leaders had. Churchill in his books explains in details the defenses that he used in the process of making decisions. The book analyzes the events, how World War I occurred, the problems that were faced by the Allies and how Churchill was able to use his leadership skills. Churchill describes the occurrence of the World War II as unnecessary event since it does not measure the consequences of its occurrence. The analysis of the Second World War can be figured out completely and in this case the book has provided the scenes presented in the Second World War through a memoir leadership of Churchill Winston composed of autocratic authorities. The Second World War having occurred in 1940-1942, Churchill presents its occurrence as unnecessary Churchill (1959). Therefore throughout the war, as Britain was indulged into fighting in order to give full protection to the allies and support the empire. This is when the career of Churchill as one of their leaders began and his skills are described as unique and composed.
Churchill asserted in his writing that he is not defining history or giving a brief discussion of history but the major events that are indicated in the books are his own viewpoints. Churchill in this case can be described as being one of the modest leaders in some extent since he explained that his work is from one of the Great War leaders and more so a talented writer, hence reading the book is a pleasure and brings grief since it describes the events that occurred during Churchill era. The speeches that are indicated in the book give an inspiring idea. The 1100 pages book is a custom version presented by Churchill and many people who have read the book are generally stunned by his explanations. History has become a subject that people need to understand and more commonly understanding the world war events is a fundamental approach of history. Most surprisingly in Churchill’s book it gives the idea on how Hitler was composed during his ruling. Therefore, the British Ministers are responsible for the actions that were articulated by German in beginning their conquests Churchill (1959).
