You don’t say how totalitarianism is defined. For Russia you begin with geography but don’t correctly identify the three features scholars emphasize. you refer to Russia’s historical hardships but don’t name any of them. you proceed to touch upon political culture, indirectly, but don’t sufficiently develop this. With respect to Russia’s Government, you only mention Putin. while it is well worth noting that Putin reflects Russia’s political setting, you should also say something about Russia’s history of government over the centuries.
Please also address the history of Colonization (1500-1820), distinguishing authoritarian and totalitarian forms for Latin America
For Russia, please address their Hardships and the love of control (rulers control and that of its inhabitants) and how their culture has developed because of that.
