what kind of philosopher are you? or to which philosophy are you aligned?Discuss

I have to choose between one of the two questions–what kind of philosopher are you? or to which philosophy are you aligned?

Essay Overview: What kind of philosopher are you? Do you have your own philosophy, or are your views aligned with an established philosophical school of thought (i.e an Existentialist, Kierkegaardean, Epicurean, Platonist, etc…)? In your essay, you must answer all of the questions in the “essay questions” section below as they pertain to your philosophy or to the philosophical school (or philosopher) to which you are aligned.

Essay Questions:

Your essay must answer or address all of the following questions. Your answers must be logically consistent with one another (meaning, they must not contradict each other).

1. Does your philosophy have a name? If so, what is it called? Why is it called that?

2. What is your epistemology? Why do you hold that view?

3. What is your ontology? Why do you hold that view?

4. What is your cosmology?

5. Do you have a teleology? If so, what is it? If not, why not?

6. From where can we find “meaning” in our lives? Does it come from without or from within, or both? Explain how life is meaningful, if at all?

7. Do you think others should follow your philosophical system? Why do you think so? What reasons would they have to do so?

P.S: the philosopher and school of thought learned in class were Heraclitus, Parmenides, Plato, Aristotle, Epicurus, Descartes, Hume, Nietzsche, Buddhism, and Existentialism,

personally I wanted to talk about Nietzsche I feel like he’s often misunderstood and classified as a mad-man because of his “God is Dead” claim. I like his will to power, reevaluation of values, and ubermench concept.
