People in a community or in an organisation, depend on each other for what they seek and want, and to get things done. Dependent people not only rely on others but also find it impossible to get things done on their own. Independent people do not need to rely on others, and get things done through their own efforts. Interdependent people both rely on others and are relied upon, to get things done. Interdependent people combine their own efforts with the efforts of others to achieve greater success through the synergistic effect

Sooner or later, almost every member of the working population will encounter a situation involving a conflict between workplace duties and obligations held outside the workplace. Certain conflicts are exceedingly common, although they may have profound conse – quences for individuals and families. For example, almost everyone knows someone who has experienced distress when the demands of work conflict with time spent with family and friends. There is no template for resolving this kind of problem, since every case is unique, but it may help to understand that this particular conflict may be systemic. That is, conflict over how time is allocated may be an inextricable feature of work within certain business environments. In such cases, individuals must decide for themselves where to draw the line between competing demands, keeping in mind that the kind of self-examination systemic conflicts require can be beneficial for the development of an individual’s ability to set professional parameters and define personal goals.
PART B: Journal Articles
Go to the library, and locate the following journal articles:
1) M. Kaptein is the author of this 2009 article entitled “FRom Inaction to External whistleBlowing: The Influence of the Ethical Culture of Organizations on employee Responses to observed Wrongdoing. c) Is this journal a scholarly one? How do you know?
2) O’Boyle & Sandona are the authors of this 2014 article entitled “Teaching business Ethics through Popular feature Films: An experiential approach.” Found on pages 329-340 in the “Journal of business Ethics.” Retrieved from EBSCO – Business Source Complete. Volume number 121; Issue number 3.

c) Is this a scholarly journal? How do you know?
3) Enron ON Stage. Article dated September 21, 2009. Published in “The EcoNOmist (Online).” Retrieved from http://search.proquest.com/docview/867416852?accountid=28844
a) Using APA Style, provide the end reference for this article.
b) Paraphrase the third paragraph (beginning with: “In a way, the Enron collapse….”), and cite in-text using proper APA Style.
In a way, the Enron collapse was a precursor of the recent crisis, since it used complex vehicles to disguise unprofitable deals – in its case, overseas power plants and broadband trading rather than subprime mortgages. What is still striking is how much we depend, as investors and commentators, on executives to report accurately the financial conditions of their firms, when those managers have every incentive to gild the lily. Indeed, on many occasions, they may believe their own rhetoric – after all, the executives at Lehman and Bear Stearns lost small fortunes when their companies went under.
c) Is this a scholarly journal? How do you know?

1) Using the format provided below, give the proper APA end reference for this 2015 Investopedia.com article authored by Chris Seabury:

Format:
Last name, first initial. (YYYY, MM DD). Title of article. Name of website. Retrieved from [URL].
