Over the past few years’ school lunches in public school have improved by providing less sugar item, decreasing calories, saturated fats, and sodium levels.accoding to muiltable writers; Perlman, S. An excellent example of this is the New York City department of education have put in place policy to inforce the changes of school menu. The highpoint of the change has been optional calorie intake as well as changing beverages to more access of water. The fact of the matter is that there is over a 30% of children that are overweight.( Perlman,1)

The great thing about change the lunch menu is that children enjoy eating healthier. Feel better about their self.
