Identify various perspectives of the ethical conflict (pros and cons).

Q- After reading Sheri Fink’s story of the Katrina disaster, it is easy to identify all the ways “the system” failed. Everything from personnel issues, structural failures, political battles and ethical compromises were evident throughout the article. Your assignment for this week is to identify the ethical compromises that took place during this crisis. Using the guidelines from the syllabus, address the following questions:
1. Before the body of your response, write an abstract of the article–if you don’t know how to do this, the APA manual can help.
2, What was the single most compelling ethical conflict (in your opinion) that happened during Katrinia that was described in the article? [There were many ethical conflicts, only address ONE). Be sure to include names within the article/health care roles and specifics (patients, situation)of the ethical failure. What failed, why? how? when? Identify various perspectives of the ethical conflict (pros and cons).
3. How could the ethical conflict that you identified have been prevented? Offer your perspective from an advanced nursing perspective.
It is only necessary to write about ONE ethical situation but there needs to be details, critical analysis and thoughtful reflection. Remember, no first person!
Your posting should be in APA format, and attached as a file document (.doc, .docx)–no PDF!
