Water crisis

Task: Write a 1200-1500 word report on one of the topics listed in this Guide. Your report should demonstrate your understanding of the topic, and your ability to structure academic and technical writing, to accurately reference sources, and to integrate graphical illustrations into your text, according to the conventions taught in this subject.
Length: Approximately 1200-1500 words.
Marks: 20% of the FES201 total mark.
Format: Report format, as described in class.
Due: Draft due Week 9, Final due Week 10
Requirements:
? Use at least four source texts, three recommended by UTS:Insearch, and one other text that you have sourced yourself.
? The report must include at least one diagram (figure) with an accompanying explanation.
? All sources used must be acknowledged using in-text citations, including the surname of the author, the year of publication of the source, and the page number on which the information appears. If there is no author?s name, use the title instead; in the case of a web document with no page numbers, use the paragraph number instead. A List of References should also be included. See the FES201A Subject Materials for further guidance.
? Your text should be double-spaced throughout the document, except for tables and figures.
? Use the cover page provided in the FES201B „Assignments? on UTSOnline.
? You must submit this assignment to Turnitin via the FES201B „Assignments? area on UTSOnline.
? Your teacher will inform you if a hard (paper) copy is also required.
Notes
? Your assignment must be free from plagiarism, and be written independently without assistance.
? Late assignments will not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances, or you make arrangements in writing with the teacher before the due date.
? If your assignments receive a pass grade or higher, the grade is final. Your tutor will explain why you were awarded the grade, but cannot change it. If you receive a fail, you can request that your tutor arrange a remark from the Program Manager, Foundation Studies. This grade is final.
