Methodology: To commence the research process, I would like conduct simple, preliminary research into the topic of ecotourism in general. The sources will be located on the Internet, through the databases of JSTOR and EBSCO. After becoming thoroughly familiar with the topic and technicalities, definitions and details associated with ecotourism, I will begin to narrow down the research into a particular category of ecology: the conservation of marine life, rain forests, endangered animals, etc. This may be dependent on the amount of secondary research available both in the online databases and references as well as print material from the AUK library. The next step will be to select a nation specific to whichever aspect of ecotourism deemed most appropriate. Once a location is chosen, a more rigorous approach to research may be employed.

-Interviews
Contacting an environmental group active in Kuwait (perhaps at the Scientific Center?) and conducting an interview regarding the ideal eco-friendly travel experience, the effects of tourism on beaches, etc.
Contacting an international environmental group, if possible, and conducting e-mail interviews
Contacting an environmental group local to or active in whichever nation or area I choose to research, also interviewing through e-mail, if possible
Informal interviews with fellow students to discover general impressions regarding ecotourism

Analyze credible research done in ecotourism, both positive and negative impacts, and apply
