This assignment will assess:
Effective communication (writing).
Ability to integrate knowledge across business disciplines. Integrate multiple business areas in an analytical (data-driven) manner to understand and solve business problems from a general management perspective.
You have been appointed CEO of your BSG Company. Your Board of Directors determined that the company has a profit problem and thus, they have directed you to increase Return on Sales (RoS) over the next three years.
1. Use data to identify where your firms RoS problem stems from.
2. Then analyze the company and its situation for possible directions to take.
3. Finally, propose one (or more) specific and viable solution.
The data and analysis you use must incorporate multiple business areas from the game such as marketing & product decisions, R&D, sales, production operations, finance, etc.
Use Times New Roman 12 point font.
Use double spacing.
Use 1 inch top, left, right, and bottom margins.
The main body of the paper should be 1.5 to 2 pages long. Staple it.
Write the paper in narrative format. Use headings, but do not use bullet points.
The two assessment rubrics found on pages 2 & 3 will be used to assess your work.
