The article talks about how companies advertise in a way to catch our attention. The main point of the article was about advertising on trucks where most companies spend a lot of money putting their company’s logo on trucks to get potential customers attention. As for this article, a strange ad on a backside of a truck grabbed the writer’s attention that says, “Dear Potential Carjacker, This is NOT a Zinger delivery truck. Instead of beautiful Zinger furniture, all you’ll find inside are priceless diamonds and bags of money. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and wish you well in your search for Zinger merchandise.” In addition, the article also talks about the difference between the ads on the sides and the backside of the trucks. Since trucks are usually on the move most of the time, it is important to have a short ad on the sides so that people can get the purpose behind the ad in a short time. On the other hand, there are always cars behind trucks giving people more time to read what’s written on the ad, which makes it more flexible to put a longer ad on the backside. Therefore, it has been shown that it is important to put an ad that catch people attention and entertain them at the same time according to the ad written before. From my point of view, the writer was right when he proposed the importance of having an entertaining ad on the back of the truck. However, it is also important to put companies Logo’s on trucks where it gets printed on people’s mind even if they don’t know it so that when they are in need for what the company is offering, their subconscious will remind them of the ad and as a result get them to buy the product.

The article talks about how companies can be prepared for 2013 by making sure of having 10 sales strategies of advertising in there plan. Since the year is almost ending, its time for tactics and execution. The writer believes in the importance of digital advertising in the market and how it can affect it. That being said, he goes on with the ten strategies such as maximize selling time, digital services, digital partnership…etc. Additionally, the article describe each point individually and the importance of it. In my opinion, it is important to have guidelines to be followed while executing a strategy for a company. However, companies differ from one another. As a result, sometimes following certain strategies that does not suite your company might backfire on you.
