NO FORMAT necessary, but if citing sources use APA to source the references.Question 1:Several years ago, a rather untamed young attorney was representing a man on trial for several counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The potential time the client faced was a minimum of twelve years in prison. The attorney having looked at the police reports, spoken with the assistant district attorney, and of course the client found some serious flaws in the prosecution\’s case. Most importantly, the \”victims,\” between them and their company had been sued for fraud over 150 times! The attorney felt this was extremely relevant and admissible evidence which went directly to the credibility of the \”victims.\” The judge did not agree. Try as he might, the young attorney tried to get this information before the jury until finally the judge advise the attorney if he attempted to bring the issue up one more time, the judge would hold him incontempt. The young advocate realized that his client was not getting a fair trial and the only way to save his client was to build in appeal. \”Well, your honor, you have been threatening me with it all day,\” declared the young attorney. \”I think its about time you either fished or cut bait, because I am not going to stop representing my client.\” Shortly thereafter, the young attorney found himself in a holding cell in county jail.Discuss what you think of the advocates actions. Was he right, was he wrong? Did he hurt his client? Was he ethical?Question 2:Now that you have all made your judgments regarding the young attorney\’s action from the previous scenario, add the following elements.The defendant was a thirty three year old African-American man with no previous criminal record.The \”victims\” were white, the jury was all white, the DDA was white and the judge was white….oh yes and the young attorney was white.The judge had made several inappropriate comments about the defendant, the most innocent was making a joke of his last name, \”Crook,\” and then laughing about it in front of the jury.
