As part of the capstone experience, students are expected to compile a reflective document that addresses the following program outcomes for the Masters of Business Administration degree.

Analyze real-world business problems and generate recommendations for action.
Integrate accounting, marketing, finance, management, and economics into a strategic business analysis.
Assess the impact of the global business environment on business situations.
Apply quantitative methods of analysis of business situations.
Perform ethically and professionally in business and society.
Communicate effectively to relevant audiences orally and in written materials.
Collaborate in teams to produce required deliverables.
Apply project management skills to business situations.
Assess the ethical implications of actions for diverse stakeholders.

The integrated business portfolio is comprised of learning statements and support evidences, which address all POs of the degree program. For each PO, you will create at least three (3) learning statements and identify at least two (2) sources of coursework (as evidence) to demonstrate your learning achievement for the PO. Your learning statements for each PO should be no more than one page in length.”

This document will include a cover sheet, professional résumé (do not need), one-page reflective statements for each program outcome, and, if applicable, a reference page. The portfolio must meet APA guidelines and have a total of nine pages, not including cover and bibliography.

Integrated Business Portfolio Overview

As part of the capstone experience, students are expected to develop learning

statements that addresses each of the eight program outcomes for the undergraduate

business degree. The Portfolio is worth 10% of the course grade and includes the

following sections:

– Cover sheet

– Table of contents page

– Professional resume (Done, do not need)

– Learning statement section (how course tasks and assignments have helped

students develop and demonstrate competencies addressed by each program

outcome)

– Reference page (if applicable)

– Appendix (includes assignments relative to each program outcome offered as

evidence of learning)

The portfolio must meet APA guidelines and consist of not less than 9 pages not

including the cover sheet, resume (do not need), table of contents, references, or appendix pages.

Portfolio Guide

The Integrated Business Portfolio should be compiled using the following structure:

I. Cover Sheet

a. Include name, course title, assignment title, date

II. Table of Contents Page

a. Include section titles and corresponding pages in document

III. Professional Resume (do not need)

a. One page resume that follows the Resume Template provided

IV. Learning Statements Section that consists of reflective statements addressing

each of the eight program outcomes in the Business Degree Program. Each

learning statement should be one page in length and describe how course tasks

and assignments have helped the student achieve the relevant outcome’s

expectations for learning.

V. A Portfolio Template is available in BUS 511 course shell for the students to

download and use to create their Integrated Business Portfolio.

To complete this assignment, download and use the applicable Integrated Business Portfolio Template – Part II to complete the learning statements and sources (evidence) for your enrolled BSB concentration. Complete ONE of the following available concentrations:

Human Resource Management (this is the one to use)

The integrated business portfolio is comprised of learning statements and support evidences, which address applicable COs of the degree program. For each CO, you will create at least two (2) learning statements and identify at least one (1) source of coursework (as evidence) to demonstrate your learning achievement for that CO. Your learning statement for each CO should be no more than one page in length.

IMPORTANT: Any learning statement included in M8A1 Integrated Business Portfolio: Part I – Program Outcomes may not be used as a learning statement in M8A2 Integrated Business Portfolio: Part II – Concentration Outcomes.

Your Integrated Business Portfolio: Part II – Concentration Outcomes should be compiled using the following structure and sections:

1. Cover Sheet: This should have your name, course title, assignment title, and date.

2. Table of Contents Page: This should include section titles and corresponding pages in the document.

3. Reflection Section: This section consists of reflective statements addressing concentration outcomes from your enrolled concentration in the business degree program. Each reflective statement should be one page in length. Each statement should describe how course tasks and assignments have helped you achieve the relevant outcome’s expectations for learning. Where applicable, you should refer to and attach in the Appendix any course work which serves as evidence to your learning..
