1) A thorough background of the primary source document and its author(s). What is it (speech, legal document, article, etc)? Who is its author? When was it from? Why was it created? 3) A discussion of the significance of this primary source for understanding the topics of this course. Why is the source worth examining? Why is the document still relevant
