Question: How would you judge and exhibition of artworks given your knowledge of formalism, expressionism, realism, modernism and post-modernism? Use specific artworks to base your answer on.
My professor has told me that a good way of going about writing this paper is to select 5 artworks; 1 of each that will best represent each term (formalism, expressionism, realism, modernism and post-modernism) and explain how that term best represents that artwork. ex: How would an expressionist view this artwork?
However, you are free to write this essay in anyway that is best for you.
