Essay question
1. Discuss how Gurinder Chadha’s film Bend it like Beckham reproduces a range of stereotypes. Be sure to name the identities/categories that are represented via these stereotypes.
2. How does the film represent racial tensions in England inter-generationally? In answering this, discuss how the film produces racism as an individual issue.
