CODING GUIDANCE SHEET INSTRUCTIONS
When you begin working in a medical office, training begins the moment you walk through the door. Often you will sit with an individual throughout the day, whereas some offices require training with multiple individuals. Having to remember everything from passwords to program navigation is difficult.

Create a Coding Guidance Sheet to help assist you with coding once you are in an office. This sheet must be designed to assist not only you, but others in ICD-10 and CPT coding.

This assignment must be at least 2 pages and must be in current APA format. It must also include a title, definition, and reference page and must cite at least 1 scholarly website along with the textbook. This assignment must also be submitted in bullet format, and each section must have a different title. Be sure to include:

• At least 10 tips and reminders on how to code ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• At least 5 medical terms or symbols regarding ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Explanation of how to locate both ICD-10-CM codes and CPT codes.
