1. How many musicians? Each show/song has about 4-8 performers.
2. Instrumentation? 1-4 lead singers, players of electric guitar, drum set, saxophone, flute, tambourine, maracas
3. Skill level (in your opinion)? electric guitar and drum players have high level, and others have average level but still create beautiful and attractive sound
4. Anything else that seems important or unusual? the players’ movement (swayed their bodies and sometimes dance to music), emotion, speech before performing (humorous, confident)

F) Observation of the audience
1. Size about 60-70 people (Parents and friends of performers, instructor, DVC students and others)
2. Attitude? really goes into it, enthusiastic
3. Mood? very good
G) Positive and negative comments about the experience and the music? occasionally acoustics was not that good because sound equipment did not work well.

Requirement:

1. The concert review is for a music class. I provide the live recording of the concert (attachment) and its introduction to you. The instruments included electric guitar, drum set, saxophone, flute and so on. Please mention the instruments and talk about their effects on the music in concert.

2. You need to emphasize the genre of the concert, which is Rock and R&B. Explain what factors made the concert music into these genres. For example, instrumentation, texture, form, melody, and harmony.

3. Introduce the concert’s information first. And then, try your best to talk more about the relation or connection between this concert and the history of Rock and R&B. Mention its best part, or most impressive part.

4. Explain the reason why you like the concert. Talk about your feelings. Most of the songs are gentle and peaceful. A few of them are intense. (How did you feel about the entire experience?) The reaction from the audiences was enthusiastic.
