It is so important to know ones’ market, in addition to knowing the industry, the culture, the customer, knowing how best to segment and knowing the competition. Marketing’s success depends on its ability to create a strategy that defines “differentiation from the competition”..

1) What is the danger of asking customers what is important to them in a particular product/service purchase?
