Critically discuss Konrad Jarausch\’s interpretation of twentieth-century European history.

Project description
Critically discuss Konrad Jarausch\’s interpretation of twentieth-century European history. Has Europe really risen from the ashes? Or is it a \”dark continent\”, as Mark Mazower suggests? Alternatively, was it an \”age of extremes\” (Eric Hobsbawm) or was its history driven a tension between \”civilization and barbarism\”, as Bernard Wasserstein thinks? Refer principally to Jarauschs text.
