Profit is like health, you need it, and the more the better. However, it is not why you exist

Survival of any business greatly depends on its capability to earn profit. Most organizations or businesses assume profit maximization to be their objective thus the more the profit is made the better (Nadar).

Making profit is very important for a business that desires to increase its activities. Making a profit allows a business to open more businesses in other areas and, therefore, focus on new markets and the purpose of all these is to make profit. One should note that earning a profit does not influence the decisions that lead to expansion of a business thus not the only major reason for existence of a business. Some of the factors that are considered while expanding a business include good management and ability to take additional responsibility (Johnson, 2008).

Most of the small businesses depend on debts from bank to carry out their operations. Debt financing requires a business to pay the money back with interest. Other than the ability to make profit, other major factors are considered such as the business owner credit worthiness, thus, profit is not the only determining factor to being given credit finance (Weber, 1997).

One should not set profit making as the goal, vision or the purpose for existence of a business, one should note that not all the organizations that post great results automatically earn the title of a great company (Roger LeRoy Miller, 2009).A good vision for an organization depends on its purpose and values.without a clear purpose and foundation,a business will not be strategic (Stocker, 2012).

People Born since 1991 are not like their elders, they are absorbed the internet like a native language while their elders tried with difficulty to learn it. How will this distinction manifest itself over the next 10 years?

The development of internet was viewed to yield a sharper generation and also act as a superhighway to get information or knowledge. The elders were not well versed with the internet. They only used it for professional and official matters. However, to the young adults, the use of internet has changed significantly, since they use the internet for entertainment, chat with peers, and watch adult content and fashion other than of using the internet in doing research and getting relevant information or news. (Bauerlein, 2008)

The internet has also ensured that people get more current information, thus, increasing the speed and also quality decision making. This results to increase in mental energy and also encourages mental activity. Therefore, internet is a very good example of empowerment of the individual and also a characteristic of emerging mental stage of evolution in the next 10 years (Posner, 2012). In the next 10 years, it is predicted that there will be a lot of criminal activities (Jacobs, 2011).

In the next ten years, the internet will be the source and place of businesses, communication, transport, and security. Internet will be a must have property. Things like hard copies will be gone. People will be doing almost everything on the internet (Heesse, 2007).
