The goal of HRM is to maximize the productivity of an organsiation by maximizing the effectiveness of its employees while simultaneously improving the work life of employees and treating employees as valuable resources. b) Describe how organisational structure and management style influence HRM activities in organsiation.
In reference to the Centralised versus decentralised and tall versus flat structure, you should explain how these organisational structures influence HR activities.
Also, how People management activities are influenced by management styles of managers should be identified. For example, the manager with autocratic management style may prefer hard aspects of people management.
