Discuss about teen pregnancy.

You need to write the paper based on paper that you wrote before for me. I attached this paper with file that is named Paper before. And then, you need to apply 2 or 3 theories to previous paper and write for this order.

The assignment is that using 2 or 3 theories to explain the sources (Teen Pregnancy) in the Annotated Bibliography is the next step.

Im going to need 3 pages of it. I’ve attached theories and you can choose three or two of them. There is an instruction of the assignment please follow that. There is one more, Im an international student so grammar and vocabulary are needed a little bit easy way. If you need some examples of theories, I will be sending them to you to understand more in-depth.

If you are going to use “Labeling Theory”, you have to apply all concepts of it to explain.

Research Paper Presentation Workshop

In this class we are only able to focus on a small number of deviant behaviors, beliefs, and lifestyles. Your research paper is your opportunity to learn more about a type of deviance that is not covered by the assigned course readings. The workshop presentation is the second step in this research process. You have already found a number of sources on your chosen type of deviance and outlined the information provided by those sources. The next step is to decide which theories you will use to analyze those sources and present an initial version of this analysis to your peers. Think of this as an extended version of a short writing assignment focused on your research topic and whichever class theories you think are appropriate. You must use at least two but no more than three theories. In total this assignment is worth 20 points (10% of your overall grade).

Over two days you will meet in groups of five to present your research and workshop it together to improve each other’s work. These two days provide 25 minutes of class time devoted to each student in your group. You will use 10-15 minutes to present your information to your peers and they will have the remaining 10-15 minutes to ask questions, give you comments, and help you to improve your analysis. When you present you may bring in a laptop to show powerpoint slides or visual aids if you would like (you may want to coordinate this with your group members ahead of time). You may also give a presentation without visuals if you prefer. You must provide a handout for the members of your group when you present. Please bring five copies of this handout, one for each group member and one for me. This handout can be a notes sheet or a printout of powerpoint slides. You can also print powerpoint slides in outline form if you would like.

The assessment of these workshops will be divided into three parts. Two parts will be peer- and self-assessed and I will assess the third.

Presentation, 8 points. The first part of your grade will be based on a peer- and self-assessment of your presentation. The grade that you receive will be an average across all group members’ scores including the one you give yourself. Your presentation will be graded on the quality, clarity, and detail of the information that you present, its relevance to the assignment, and the thoughtfulness and accuracy of your theoretical analysis. You will also be graded on the practical aspects of your presentation including your speaking style, eye contact, and the length of your presentation.

Participation, 4 points. In order for this activity to be successful and help you all to develop your research papers, everyone needs to fully participate in the workshop. You are expected to attend both days of the workshop, listen closely to all group members’ presentations, and provide useful and thoughtful feedback on how your peers can improve their work. The participation grade that you receive will be an average across all group members’ scores including the one you give yourself. If you miss a day of the workshop you can receive a maximum of 2 participation points.

Handout, 8 points. I will assess the final part of your grade. The handout should demonstrate that you have a strong understanding of the type of deviance that you are studying, can explain it clearly to others, and are beginning to apply class theories to it thoughtfully, accurately, and analytically. In order to do this successfully, the handout must provide adequate detail. Bullet points and outline formatting are encouraged, but full sentences will likely be necessary to receive a strong score for this portion of the assignment. If you choose to use powerpoint, you may utilize both the slides and the notes areas to provide enough detail if you do not want to put too many words on the slides (since that can hamper the quality of your presentation). Make sure that all information is quoted and cited appropriately. Ideally all information, with the exception of important “insider” quotes, will be paraphrased. Anytime you are not using your own words be sure to use quotation marks and follow ASA citation format. In accordance with ASA format, please provide a bibliography.
