Sexull harasment as aform of moral decadence has plagued society for many centuries.It is only recently in the 19thcentury that society has been able to come out loudly agaisnt it however its still prevalent.In the 21st Century sexual harasment can be found in a varied number of places.These places include learning instituitons,work places or even at home.

In work places, women are harassed by their superiors who in most scenarios are usually men. The sexually harassed women are threatened that they may lose their jobs or their careers may be ruined if they do not co-operate.

Reports of sexual harassment in schools have also been on the rise. These reports are mainly about teachers or lecturers harassing the students although reports have also arisen about sexual harassment among the teachers themselves.

While at home,young children may also face sexual harassment from parents,siblings or relatives.This form of harassment is dangerous because it leaves the child in a trauma throughout his or her life.Parents should always take keen note of changes in behavior intheir children and care should be taken in who they are left with at home.

Stricter measures should be put I place to punish offenders and victims should be encouraged to come out without fear. Laws ensuring that those victims do not lose their jobs upon releasing such information are especially vital in eradicating this menace.
