Course Description and Objectives
This course provides an introduction to the study of real estate principle, investments and valuations. Throughout the course you will develop tools and techniques for the appraisal and analysis of real estate investments by examining realistic problems and solutions.
Specifically, by the end of the semester students should be able to:
• Evaluate a potential real estate investment opportunity
• Analyze the value of a property using various techniques
• Understand how to create and maintain value for investment properties
