Evaluate the significance of different chosen policy initiatives in education in terms of the inter relationships between educational systems and social change at institutional, local, national and international levels.
Identify the significance of chosen policy texts in terms of the education systems they have been produced within.
Articulate their own interpretations of these texts informed by various forms of evidence and research.
Develop their capacity for critical reflection and questioning.

The exception is where the assessment is a wiki, discussion board, online collaboration or uses other digital media, this may be submitted electronically as advised by the module tutor.

Demonstrate the use of a variety of relevant sources including primary sources (the policy texts) and secondary sources that analyse the significance of these texts.

Organisation: Clarity of structure and expression
Demonstrate ability to organise and structure your argument and present a coherent and accurately referenced essay.
