In analyzing your chosen company, you will complete the following tasks:
•Evaluate the way people interact in an organization and how that contributes to the success or failure of the organization
•Analyze how the development and implementation of the organizational strategy takes place and what effect this has on the output of the organization
•Explore how the strategy is expressed through the culture of the organization and how that helps determine the output of the organization
•Discuss the style and techniques of communication and decision-making found within the organization and how these styles and techniques affect employees
•Critique the leadership and motivational approaches demonstrated in the company
•Evaluate the leadership of teams within the organization as to effectiveness and contribution to the organization’s success
PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS
Choose to examine a company where you work or have worked, or review one of these suggested companies:

• Hyatt • Microsoft • Toyota
Through interviews and/or research, explore how the structure and culture of a business interact with the company’s strategy to create the level of success the company enjoys. In a paper of a suggested length of 8-10 pages, discuss your findings for each of the key elements we have discussed in this class.
Your paper should consider the following elements at a minimum:
• Organizational structure and control
• Culture
• Leadership
• Human nature and motivation
• Decision making
• Strategy
• Employee goals and objectives
Focus on your findings and your opinions of what works well, what should be done better, and what should be changed or discontinued. Your paper should be formatted according to APA style guidelines.
